Section 1511 Certification
American Recovery and Reinvestment Act requires the governor to make a
certification that "the infrastructure investment has received the full
review and vetting required by law and that the chief executive accepts
responsibility that the infrastructure investment is an appropriate use of
taxpayer dollars" before TxDOT can receive federal recovery funds. The
certification letter below meets the requirement of this section.
