The Lufkin US 59 North/Loop 287 project will cover an area of US 59 from State Highway (SH) 103 East to just north of Farm to Market (FM) 3439 (Spence Street).
Purpose
This three-phase project will allow traffic on US 59, US 69 and Loop 287 to flow freely through the US 59 North at Loop 287 intersection and will improve clearances at the bridges.
Project Status
This project is on hold indefinitely due to budgetary reasons.
