TxDOT is studying
the use of public-private partnerships to accelerate construction on I-820, SH
121/183 and portions of I-35W by combining express lanes and high occupancy
vehicle lanes within a comprehensive development agreement as part of the
North Tarrant Express.
The map provided below shows past and future projects with the greatest impact
on this corridor. The map's history timeline and traffic counts are also broken
out separately for easier access.
