Parmer Lane/Loop 1 Project

This project is dedicated to improving mobility and safety at the Parmer Lane and Loop 1 interchange.

Our goal is to widen Parmer Lane, reconfigure ramps, add lanes and make intersection improvements in a safe and environmentally sensitive manner. Construction began in April 2007 and is scheduled to last about 18 months. The contractor for the $23.4 million project is Dan Williams.

Updates

On Sunday, June 15, 2008, the southbound Duval exit ramp will be closed, marking the start of Phase 1B of the project.
- During the closure, all SB Loop 1 Duval bound traffic will be directed to take the Water's Park exit and go through that intersection to get to Duval.
