Our first goal is to fill the gaps in the present frontage road system. These
gaps include sections on the north and south side of I-30 between Summerhill
Road and State Line Avenue and on the south side of I-30 between FM 989 (Kings
Highway) and US 59.
This work must be done before the frontage roads are
converted to one-way. Work will also begin on some of the newer bridges that
will be constructed such as the University Avenue overpass and three new bridges
over the Kansas City Southern railroad.
