  • Convert frontage roads to one-way
  • Reconstruct US 59 interchange
  • Reconstruct three bridges
  • Add two bridges and turnarounds on each side of all the bridges
  • Relocate frontage roads under overpasses
  • Relocate on and off ramps for more efficient traffic patterns.
Cost: $153,539,064.62
Contractor: Austin Bridge & Road, LP of Dallas, Texas
Construction Period: Construction to begin in October 2006 and take about four years to complete.
