The entrance ramp at Jacksboro Hwy. for Southbound US 287-Eastbound US 82 in Wichita Falls will be closed to all traffic next week. The closure will start Monday morning, March 27, 2006 at approximately 8 am and continue through Friday, March 31, 2006 at 5pm.

The closure will be in affect around the clock so that maintenance crews can make repairs to the concrete. The on ramp has experienced damage due to increased traffic

A detour will be in place directing traffic to stay on the Southbound US 281 frontage road to Midwestern Parkway to get back on the freeway.

This closure will also affect traffic coming off of Kell East wanting to go South on US 287/82. These motorists were using the Jacksboro Hwy Entrance ramp since last December when the Galveston Street Southbound Entrance ramp (in front of Pattersons) was closed for Falls Flyover construction.
