Spring break Campaign Starts Tomorrow

The Texas Department of Transportation and the Wichita Falls Police Department have teamed up for another public education campaign at Midwestern University. Tomorrow, March 7, 2006 from 9 am to 1pm, TxDOT and the PD will be at the Clark Student Center to teach students about the dangers of drinking and driving along with the importance of seat belt usage. The booth will also demonstrate the affects of alcohol on a person by using "Fatal Vision Goggles". Wearing the goggles simulates the coordination and vision problems associated with drinking alcohol.

Students are encouraged to come by and try on the goggles. There will also be plenty of materials to take home for spring breakers.
