UNDATED - Here's a quick look at events and work planned in the Tyler District in the coming week:

TxDOT offices to close Wednesday in observance of Veterans Day

All Texas Department of Transportation offices will be closed Wednesday, November 11 for Veterans Day. Offices will re-open Thursday at 8 a.m. and resume normal business operations.

Edge, pavement repairs scheduled for IH 20, FM 14 in Smith County

SMITH COUNTY - Texas Department of Transportation maintenance crews this week are scheduled to perform edge repairs on eastbound Interstate 20 between US 271 and FM 2015 near the Gregg County Line.
Crews will also be at work making pavement repairs on the FM 14 overpass at IH 20. That work will also require intermittent ramp closures at FM 14.

Daytime lane closures will be in effect in each location while the work is in progress, and motorists should be prepared to reduce speed and merge in and around the work zone.

Base repair work scheduled for Jacksonville, Reklaw

CHEROKEE COUNTY - Texas Department of Transportation maintenance crews this week are scheduled to be at work repairing base failures on US 79 east of US 69 inside the Jacksonville city limits, and on US 84 near Reklaw.
Daytime lane closures will be in effect in each location while the work is in progress, and flaggers will control traffic in two-lane areas.

Pavement repairs conclude on US 259, move to FM 3272 in White Oak

GREGG COUNTY - Texas Department of Transportation maintenance crews this week are scheduled to conclude their work on US 259 north of Longview, then shift the pavement repair operation to FM 3272 in White Oak by mid-week, weather permitting.

The work on FM 3272 will be conducted in various locations between US 80 and FM 2275.

Daytime lane closures will be in effect in each location while the work is in progress. Motorists are encouraged to be prepared to reduce speed and merge in and around the work zone.

Resurfacing operations continue on FM 1798

RUSK COUNTY - Texas Department of Transportation maintenance crews this week are scheduled to continue resurfacing operations on FM 1798 south of Henderson, between US 79 south of Henderson and FM 225 in Laneville.

Daytime lane closures will be in effect while the work is in progress, and traffic will be controlled by flaggers.

Rehabilitation work continues on RM 2588

HENDERSON COUNTY - Texas Department of Transportation maintenance crews this week are scheduled to continue rehabilitating parts of RM 2588 south of LaRue, between US 175 and the Henderson-Anderson county line.

Crews will be tearing the road down to the base materials and rebuilding the roadway.
Daytime lane closures will be in effect while the work is in progress, and traffic will be controlled by flaggers.

TxDOT continues repairing storm, flood-damaged roads

WOOD COUNTY - TxDOT maintenance crews this week are scheduled to continue pavement repairs on several storm-damaged roadways throughout the county.

Daytime lane closures will be in effect in each location while the work is in progress, and flaggers will control traffic in two-lane areas.

Edge, pavement repairs continue on FM 860

ANDERSON COUNTY - Texas Department of Transportation maintenance crews this week are scheduled to continue edge and pavement repairs on FM 860, between SH 19 and US 287.

Daytime lane closures will be in effect, and traffic will be controlled by flaggers.
