Public Hearings
Scheduled to Gather Comments, Answer
Questions COLLIN/DENTON COUNTIES –
The Texas Department of
Transportation (TxDOT) will conduct
two public hearings to receive
comments from interested individuals
concerning the proposed transfer of
a segment of State Highway (SH) 121
from the state highway system to the
North Texas Tollway Authority (NTTA).
This segment is located from west of
Farm to Market Road (FM) 2281 in
Denton County to just east of
Hillcrest Road in Collin County.
The first hearing will be held
Monday, August 18, at Christopher A.
Parr Library, located at 6200
Windhaven Parkway in Plano. The
second hearing will be held Tuesday,
August 19, at The Colony City Hall
Council Chamber, located at 6800
Main Street in The Colony. Both
hearings will begin with a
presentation at 6 p.m. followed by a
public comment session.
Descriptions, maps and drawings
showing the proposed portion of SH
121 to be transferred to the NTTA
and other information concerning the
proposed transfer will be available
for viewing at the public hearing,
as well as at the TxDOT Dallas
District Office, located at 4777
East Highway 80 in Mesquite. |
