The project will require the acquisition of additional right of way.
TxDOT has scheduled the first public meeting on Nov. 2, 2017 in an effort to engage the public. The meeting's details will be posted to this website as they become available. Adjacent property owners will also receive notification by mail. All interested citizens will have a chance to provide input, voice concerns and ask questions.
TxDOT and its consultants are in the initial stages of the project’s development. The team is currently conducting field visits and identifying the viable alternatives. The first public meeting is scheduled for Nov. 2, 2017, to present the options. The alternatives will also be posted to this web page following the meeting.
For a project this size, the preliminary engineering development will take approximately two years. TxDOT started work on the project in March 2017.
