Roma-Ciudad Miguel Aleman Bridge
This two-lane bridge is 810 feet long. The border station (USBS Roma) is owned by Starr County and was completed in 1988.
The crossing is also known locally as Starr County International Bridge, Roma Bridge and Puente Roma-Miguel Alemán.
The bridge, which is located in a historical part of town, receives a mix of commercial vehicles, passenger vehicles and pedestrians. Identified needs include sidewalk improvements, reevaluation of parking lots and coordination with local agencies on projects planned for the area.
At the end of the study, improvements will be recommended based upon identified needs of the border crossings. If you would like to comment on the study, please email us.
