ROANOKE — Weather permitting, westbound lanes and the frontage road on SH 114 at SH 170 will be closed between 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 24 and 5:30 a.m. the next morning to install storm sewer across the westbound frontage road.
One mainlane at a time will be closed beginning with the left lane and proceeding to the right lane after midnight. The frontage road will remain closed for the duration of the operation.
Motorists are encouraged to seek alternate routes through that area during this operation.
This is part of a $33 million traffic improvement project rebuilding the interchange at SH 114 and SH 170. Estimated completion is later this year.
