PARIS – TxDOT officials today announced that repair work will begin July 17, 2017, near two intersections along I-30 in Hunt County.

The contractor, SJ&J Construction, will perform concrete barrier and guardrail repairs along I-30 near Wesley Road in Greenville, and near Exit 101 (Lynn Creek). Exit 101 directs traffic from I-30 eastbound toward Campbell and Commerce, Texas.

The contract for this work is valued at more than $190,000. TxDOT officials anticipate completion of this project by July 31, weather permitting.

Those who regularly travel in these areas are asked to remain alert and pay special attention to all signs, barricades and traffic controls, and reduce their speed as they approach and travel through work zones. They should also avoid distractions such as cell phones, eating, drinking, or car audio or navigation systems.
