Collin County Construction Contracts Awarded

COLLIN COUNTY – In an ongoing effort to enhance state roadways as well as improve safety and traffic flow, the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) approved two contracts for Collin County.

  • A contract to mill, repair the roadway base and then overlay on FM 75 between Main Street and County Road 461 in Princeton was awarded to Jagoe-Public Company for $1.4 million.
  • A contract to improve traffic signals on SH 289 (Preston Road) was awarded to Durable Specialties, Inc for $1.7 million. The signals are located in Frisco, Plano and Dallas.

Construction dates will be established in upcoming meetings between TxDOT and the contractor.
