DALLAS – The Interstate 35E (I-35E) high occupancy vehicle (HOV) lane from downtown Dallas (Reunion Boulevard) to Kiest Boulevard is scheduled to reopen at 6 a.m. on Monday, June 19. The schedule is weather permitting.
The 6.3-mile HOV lane features one barrier-separated, reversible lane. Only two-axle vehicles with at least two people or motorcycles are allowed to use this lane.
Southbound drivers will enter at Reunion Boulevard and have the option to exit onto I-35E at Kiest or continue in the HOV lane on US 67. Northbound drivers will be able to enter from the US 67 HOV lane or I-35E at Kiest. Northbound drivers can either exit the HOV lane onto Reunion Boulevard or merge with I-35E mainlane traffic at Reunion. A map of the area provides more information.

The HOV lane has been closed for construction of the Horseshoe Project. It will be opened to provide additional mobility options for motorists until the fall of 2017. At that time, the HOV lane will close for construction of the Southern Gateway Project.
