DENTON – The final traffic configuration on US 380 east of I-35 East is in place, and all lanes are now open from Hinkle Boulevard to Elm Street. The two recent projects stretch from west of Bonnie Brae Street to US 377 and from west of FM 156 to I-35. All lanes are now in their final configuration and open.
There may still be some various lane closures while punch-list items are finalized. The western project began in May 2013, and the eastern project began in November 2014.
These projects address safety and accommodate the increase in traffic along US 380 due to population growth.
