IRVING – A project to build a new westbound frontage road on SH 114 from Freeport Parkway to Esters Boulevard is set to begin in April and the estimated completion is anticipated in December. The new frontage road is being paid for by local funds and will enhance transportation and development in the area.

The project length is just under one mile. The contract was awarded to Ed Bell Construction Company for $3.9 million.

Work will require various daytime lane closures scheduled during off-peak hours throughout the duration of the project.
