San Angelo, 76905 (Map)

When:

Thursday, Feb. 9, 2017

Purpose:

The purpose of the meeting is to provide information and to gather public input on the proposed upgrade of US 67 from Loop 306 to 1.4 miles North of US 277 and associated access roads along US 67.

Description:

Proposed improvements are designed to reduce congestion and enhance safety through the provision of:
  • Grade separations on US 67 at Paul Ann Street and Tractor Trail
  • Continuous access roads from Loop 306 to US 277
  • A depressed median between northbound and southbound traffic on US 67, resulting in a freeway facility with control of access provided by frontage roads.

Maps showing the proposed project location and geometric design will be available for viewing at the meeting, which will be held in an open house format from 5:30-7 p.m., with a presentation at 6 p.m.

Information will also be available for public inspection Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., at the TxDOT San Angelo District Office, 4502 Knickerbocker Rd., San Angelo, TX 76901.

The meeting will be conducted in English. Persons interested in attending the meeting who have special communication or accommodation needs, or need an interpreter, are encouraged to contact the San Angelo District’s environmental coordinator at (325) 947-9261. Requests should be made at least two days prior to the public meeting. Every reasonable effort will be made to accommodate these needs.
