|Purpose:||The purpose of the public meeting is to gather public input on the proposed extension of Landing Boulevard from FM 518 to IH 45 in Galveston and Harris Counties. The meeting will be an open house format so citizens may come and go at their convenience, and staff will be available to answer questions.
|Description:||Proposed improvements include the following:
The proposed improvements would accommodate expected traffic demand and growth in the region, while enhancing safety by providing an additional north/south route on the west side of the City of League City. The proposed project area includes approximately 500 feet of existing roadway as well as approximately 23 acres of additional right of way. It is anticipated that one business would be displaced.
