Purpose: A public hearing to present proposed improvements to the intersection of State Highway (SH) 104 at Farm-to-Market Road (FM) 1774 in Grimes County. The proposed limits extend from 0.53-miles west of FM 1774 to 0.65-miles east of FM 1774.

The proposed project is needed to address safety concerns related to traffic accidents associated with the intersection. Construction is tentatively targeted to begin in 2015.
   
Description: Proposed improvements include the following:
  • Construction of a grade-separated interchange with FM 1774 traffic traveling over SH 105
  • Approximately 17/2 acres of additional right-of-way will be required to accommodate the improved intersection. Note: There would be no relocation of homes or businesses.
