Open House - Loop 82 (Guadalupe Street) Bridge Replacement

Where:	San Marcos Public Library Multi-Purpose Room 625 E. Hopkins St. San Marcos, TX 78666	When:	Thursday, April 26, 2012 6 p.m. - 8 p.m.
Purpose:	An open house to to discuss the proposed replacement of the existing 78 year-old, 4-lane bridge over Loop 82 (Guadalupe Street) over Willow Springs Creek in San Marcos. The bridge is considered "functionally obsolete" due primarily to substandard lane widths for the volume of traffic that uses it. The existing box culvert structure also acts as an impediment to stormwater discharge.
Description:	Proposed bridge would include the following: Three span, concrete slab and beam construction Four 12-foot-wide travel lanes (two in each direction) Two 5-foot-wide bicycle lanes (one in each direction) Construction within existing 95-foot-wide right-of-way
