Cathy Floyd is the director of the South Regional Support Center.

She began her career as a TxDOT summer employee while in college and has held numerous positions throughout her 27-year career with the agency.

Floyd was most recently the director of administration for the San Antonio District. She led the business and support activities for 14 years and oversaw accounting, purchasing, warehousing, budget, IT, Human Resources and at different times fleet management and safety.

Floyd has helped to lead the Southern districts toward regionalization in the support areas for the past several years, sharing limited resources and implementing processes to improve efficiencies across the 6 district region.

She is a certified public accountant and holds degrees in accounting and organizational administration from the University of Texas at San Antonio.

Originally from La Vernia Texas in Wilson County, Floyd and her husband George have three sons and love to spend their free time in the country enjoying the wildlife and their many pets.
