Hiring Process

NOTE: All Job postings will expire at 12:01AM Central Standard Time (CST) on the Posting Close Date. Applications must be submitted before Midnight on the day before the Posting Close Date. For example: If the Posting Close Date is Aug. 22, 2014, applications must be submitted by midnight on August 21, 2014.

Our hiring process is fair, nondiscriminatory and competitive. When a job becomes available, we:

  • post the job opening on our website,
  • accept applications until 12:01 Central Standard Time (CST) on the "Posting Close Date" (late applications will not be accepted),
  • send acknowledgement notices to applicants,
  • screen applications to find best potential employees,
  • conduct interviews, and
  • make a conditional job offer.

We do not make a final job offer until we conduct background and reference checks and the applicant passes a drug test and physical exam. The hiring process may take up to 60 days from the closing date on the job posting. For more information on this process, please contact the Human Resources Employment Office nearest you.
