Electrical Certification eLearning Courses
The purpose of these courses is to extend your electrical certification, which will enable you to continue to work on TxDOT projects. Upon successful completion of three courses, you will receive a three-year re-certification card in the mail. Three years will be added to the expiration date of your current certification card.
Note: All persons holding a TEEX certification, an expired TRF450 or TRF453 certificate will receive an expiration date three years from the successful completion of these online courses.
Prerequisites
Anyone taking these courses must have successfully completed the University of Texas at
Arlington's TRF450, TRF453, or TEEX/TxDOT Electrical Systems course and have in possession a valid wallet
certification card (description below). Persons without these certifications will not receive credit for completing
these courses.

Course Descriptions
Each of the courses costs $125 and payment is due at the time of registration. You must successfully complete and pass the
examination in three courses with a score of 80 percent or better. The courses in this series are as follows:
Note: The prerequisite for all of the courses is a TRF 450, TEEX, or TRF 453 wallet card.
