Special Notice to Contractors - Sept. 8, 2017 Letting Postponed until Oct. 3-4, 2017

TxDOT postponed all projects originally scheduled to be let on Sept. 8, 2017. Those projects have been rescheduled to let within the Oct. 3-4, 2017 state letting. TxDOT did not retain bids submitted for the Sept. 8, 2017 letting; all electronic bids were purged from the vault, and all paper bids were returned unopened.

No bid documents submitted for the Sept. 8, 2017 letting can be used for the Oct. 3-4, 2017 letting. All contractors, whether submitting electronic or paper bids, must request new proposals and submit completely new bids to be considered for the Oct. 3-4, 2017 state letting.

The projects scheduled for letting on Oct. 3-4 can be found here:

Special Notice to Contractors - E-Verify Affirmation Requirement Effective for October 2017 Contracts

Qualified prime contractors will be unable to bid on TxDOT projects until the documentation has been provided. Subcontractors will not be approved to work on TxDOT projects until the documentation has been provided.

Special Notice to Contractors - Important Policy Change Effective Sept. 1, 2017

Effective Sept. 1, 2017, the Notice to Contractors will only be available electronically by email subscription and posted on the TxDOT website. The Texas Department of Transportation will no longer mail copies of the Notice to Contractors after August 2017.

For all entities meeting the requirements of 43 Texas Administrative Code 9.13, TxDOT will email the Notice to Contractors to the primary email contact on file for the company, to every iCX (integrated Contractor Exchange) user email address, and all DMS (Diversity Management System) user email addresses.

To promptly receive the Notice to Contractors, please ensure a valid email address is on file for your company. If you would like another user to receive the notifications, please contact your internal iCX Administrator and have them create an additional user account for notification purposes.
