SS5004  PDF  RTF  Incentive for Using Non-Road Diesel Equipment Powered by EPA Tier 1, 2, or 3 Diesel Engines in Nonattainment and Affected Counties - Provide incentive payments for using non-road diesel equipment powered by diesel (compression-ignition) engines rated at 50 horsepower or above. Required on all projects within the listed 12 districts. May use SS 5001 through December 2004. SS 5004 is required for letting dates January 2005 through August 2007. Replaces SS5001 .Replaced by SS5018 . (Change Memo: de-42-04). Districtwide Use.
SS5001  PDF  RTF  Nonattainment and Near Nonattainment Areas Incentive for Using Non-Road Diesel Equipment Powered by EPA Tier 1, 2 or 3 Diesel Engines - Provides incentive payments for non-road diesel equipment powered by diesel engines rated at 50 hp or above. Required on all projects within the listed 12 districts. Lettings dates September 2004 through December 2004. Replaced by SS5004 . (Change Memo: de-26-04). Districtwide Use.
SS5000  PDF  RTF  Incentive for Use of Low Emission Diesel in Nonattainment and Affected Counties - Provides for incentive payments for purchasing and using low emission diesel (LED) in non-road engines until TCEQ rules require LED use on April 1, 2005. Required on all projects within the listed 14 districts. Lettings dates June 2004 through December 2004. Replaced by SS5005 . Districtwide Use.
SS3239  PDF  RTF  Thin Overlay Mixture (TOM) - Construct a thin friction course overlay surface mix composed of a compacted mixture of aggregate and asphalt binder mixed hot in a mixing plant and placed at a lift thickness of 3/4 to 1-1/4 inch. Districtwide Use.

SS3210  PDF  RTF  Spray Applied Underseal Membrane - This Special Specification provides for a membrane seal application ahead of a subsequent mix application in a single pass of the paving machine. Replaced by SS3233 . Districtwide Use.

SS3011  PDF  RTF  Raising and Undersealing Concrete Slabs - Raise and underseal concrete slabs at locations shown on the plans and as directed. This is proprietary, use requires coordination with CST Division. Replaced by SS3255 . Districtwide Use.
