Corpus Christi District Engineer

Craig Clark, P.E.Craig Clark, P.E., is the district engineer for the Corpus Christi District of the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT). He was appointed district engineer January 1, 2004. His area of responsibility includes Aransas, Bee, Goliad, Jim Wells, Karnes, Kleberg, Live Oak, Nueces, Refugio, and San Patricio counties.

Mr. Clark previously served as District Engineer in the Childress District from 2001-2003. Clark began his TxDOT career in the Odessa District in 1982. After four years, he was promoted to area engineer for the Pecos region. In 1989, he joined the Construction Division as engineer of field construction. His responsibilities included development of policy and procedures across a broad spectrum of operations. In 1992, Mr. Clark was named director of construction for the San Antonio District where he worked for nine years.

Clark graduated from the University of Missouri – Rolla in 1982 with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.

He and his wife, Linda, have 2 children and 3 grandchildren.
