Motor Carrier Director

Carol DavisCarol Davis is director of the Motor Carrier Division.

Davis began her TxDOT career in 1987 with the Highway Design Division. She has also served in TxDOT's Austin District and the Vehicle Titles and Registration Division. Prior to her appointment as division director in 2003, Davis served as the division's Business Services Director.

Davis represents TxDOT as a member of the American Association of Highway Transportation Officials (AASHTO) Subcommittee on Highway Transport and the Western Association of Highway Transportation Officials (WASHTO) Committee on Highway Transport. Davis received her bachelor's degree from St. Edward's University in 1993.
